PageTidy help

PageTidy is intentionally simple. Most problems fall into one of these cases.

PageTidy removed the wrong thing

Open PageTidy and choose Undo. If you have made several temporary changes, choose Restore page to reverse PageTidy’s temporary edits on that tab.

The overlay is gone but I still can’t scroll

Run Remove blocking overlay once. Scroll restoration is built into PageTidy’s smart-clean path and repairs several common body/html scroll locks left behind by overlays.

PageTidy can’t find the element automatically

Choose Pick something to hide, hover until the correct element is highlighted, and click it.

A remembered cleanup stopped working

Websites sometimes change their HTML. Delete the old saved rule in Saved Cleanups, hide the element again, and remember the new cleanup.
